AYuub health ongoing projects.
AYUUB has made significant progresses improving health outcomes for children, Mothers and elderly men particularly vulnerable communities of who cannot have access to quality health care and services. AYUUB implements health projects reaching out most of the districts in lower Shabelle region; Merka, Qoryoley, Kurtunwarey, Wanlaweyn and Afgoye In the context of health services, AYUUB currently achieved to run 11 health facilities and 21 health posts in different villages of lower Shabelle region AYUUB also achieved to train more than 205 health personnel necessary to deliver basic and essential health care to vulnerable communities in the respective operational areas. Without quality health care and services, children would have been more susceptible to illness that causes the devastating effects of humanitarian emergencies.
Up to date AYUUB has saved hundreds of lives through health emergency live saving projects supported by WHO, UNIICEF, SHF and STELO BIANCO.
AYUUB Collaborates with authorities (government) in state and federal level to improve quality health services for U5 children, Pregnant and lactating women (PLW). AYUUB always emphasize to equip nurses, auxiliaries, Midwives, CHWs, IYCF workers, Vaccinators, and health emergency and outreach teams for serving in all kinds of disaster affected communities.
